Online Testing

Online testing is open book (feel free to use whatever resources are available to you), and there is no time restriction. Moreover, if you need to take the test more than once to pass it, feel free to do so.

To determine which test you need to take, please follow these steps sequentially (don’t skip any steps unless you are instructed to do so).

Step One. Please look at the list of grades shown below in blue. If you are one or more of these grades, ignore steps two, three, and four, click State Exam 5 (this will take you to the exam), register for the exam (as you would register for a course), and take the exam. To register for the exam, please assume one of the identities given below in blue. (For example, if your assessor grade is listed below but your referee grade isn't listed, sign up for the test after choosing your assessor identity.) To pass the exam, you need to get 85% or better. If you are none of the grades listed in blue, go to step two.

Step Two. Please look at the list of grades shown below in green. If you are one or more of these grades, ignore steps three and four, click State Exam 6 (this will take you to the exam), register for the exam (as you would register for a course), and take the exam. To register for the exam, please assume one of the identities given below in green. To pass the exam, you need to get 80% or better. If you are none of the grades listed in green, go to step three.

Step three. Please look at the list of grades shown below in red. If you are one or more of these grades, ignore step four, click Ref Exam 7 (this will take you to the exam), register for the exam (as you would register for a course), and take the exam. To pass the exam, you need to get 85% or better. To register for the exam, please assume one of the identities given below in red. If you are none of the grades listed in red, go to step four.

Step four. If you are a grade-8 referee, click Ref Exam 8, register for the exam (as you would register for a course), and take the exam. To pass the exam, you need to get 80% or better. You will need an override code.

If you don’t know which exam to take or which GameOfficials identity to assume (to sign up for the test), download the help file found here or contact Peggy Gruzalski (482-2910).
